Means To Collapse is a groove metal band from Braunschweig.
The four guys from Northern Germany understand this as groovy, melodic metal, with an orientation towards metalcore with a deep song mood, shouts / growls, complex guitar solos and acoustic parts.
The band has already released 3 EP's and the longplayer Shattered Sun.
Musically, it's difficult to categorize Means To Collapse as pure groove metal, as the songs range from fast progressive metal to the classic heavy mid-tempo neckbreaker to rock ballads like "Narcotic Insomnia".
One of the reasons why Means To Collapse is a popular support act for bands like Life Of Agony, Sheer Terror, Don Gatto, Unearth or Pyo Genesis.

EP 2020
The second Means To Collapse album was produced entirely by the band themselves.
Once again, an album name was deliberately omitted and only the logo adorns the cover, as the music should stand for itself.
The album cover was painted with real colors and photographed.
This album is characterized by its progressiveness and its raw, not highly polished sound.
EP 2017
The band's first album in a new formation, with David on vocals, was released in 2017.
Mastered and mixed by Till Schleicher.
This is the first album on which Means To Collapse move away from deathcore and towards groove metal.
The original band logo is the only motif to adorn the otherwise completely black album cover.
Means To Collapse experiment with new guitar sounds and speeds on this EP. The 5 songs range from extremely fast to dark and heavy.
